What is something if it is not perceived? If a tree falls in a forest and no one is there to experience it, did it really even exist at all? When we saw evidence that we think indicates a fallen tree, are we making up a story of how it got to that state? We assume that at one point it was seed, grew over the course of decades, and then fell.
I guess it depends on what is considered matter and what is considered a product of the mind. Again we are removed from reality and interpreting through our senses what is matter. So is mind matter or is matter mind?
What is mind? No matter. What is matter? Never mind.

Lovely opening up of this concept.
Thank you. It does need to be expanded on, doesn’t it?
Very interesting position. I guess if you don’t mind it doesn’t matter. Yet at some point it would be logical and perhaps wise to have faith in a creative being, a force outside of ourselves and where we are not the center of our own creation. I don’t know, but I tend to mess things up in my world. My thanks for your comment.
I guess if I am going to quote someone I should cite them and get it right.
I had a slight error and the quote should be “What is mind? No matter. What is matter? Never mind.” I corrected and cited above, thanks for having me look closer at that.
The issue isn’t that we are creators screwing things up, the issue is that we are interpreters messing up the interpretation. We apply our own thoughts and ideas to what we perceive, and then we try to put it into words which flummoxes everything up. This is the case whether the creative being is internal or external.
Thank you for your comments and posts.
Experience and interpretations are always personal. Any attempt to share would require some medium to convey and in the process loss of content.
Every event is experienced totally in unique fashion by every being. I have explained it in a story About the Elephant on my blog.
