I feel that I spend so much time looking at where I want to be that I don’t take the time to be thankful for where I am. I have a loving wife that puts her family first. 2 smart, vibrant, creative children. Parents, siblings, in-laws, extended families. Readers and supporters like you. A career (not a job) where I am paid well and challenged. A nice house, car, stuff…Freedom. Independence. Safety. Security. Love. Prosperity. Abundance.
I must always recognize abundance.
Everywhere there is abundance.
And I am taking part in it.
I want to do something outside of my self.
I want to learn to shoot a bow and arrow.
I want to challenge myself and become good at something.
I want to become a connection to something perfect.
I want to hunt coyotes in the pale moon light
Try and imagine what it will be like to go to sleep and never wake up.
Think about that
Children think about that
It is one of the great wonders of life
“What is it like to go to sleep and never wake up?”
And if you think long enough about that
Something will happen
You will find out among other things,
That it will pose a next question to you
“What was it like to wake up after having never gone to sleep?”
– Alan Watts
