Remember what it is like
Sometimes it is hard to get back
To that idealized state
What we had pictured in our mind
What we wanted to attain
What we wanted to be
Maybe it is better to let that memory go
Forget what we wanted to be
What we wanted to feel like
If I know only one thing, it’s that everything that I see
Of the world outside is so inconceivable often I barely can speak
Yeah I’m tongue-tied and dizzy and I can’t keep it to myself
What good is it to sing helplessness blues, why should I wait for anyone else?
- Fleet Foxes – Helplessness Blues
And maybe it is better to not know
Or at least be OK with not knowing
There are a lot of things that I want to know right now
But I don’t know them
Some of them eat away at me
I should let them go and accept that I may never know
Being at ease with not knowing is crucial for answers to come to you. By Eckhart Tolle
I told you to be patient
I told you to be fine
I told you to be balanced
I told you to be kind
Now all your love is wasted?
Then who the hell was I?
Now I’m breaking at the britches
And at the end of all your lines
Who will love you?
Who will fight?
Who will fall far behind?
